Made Visible Project: 2018 - 2019
Made Visible is an innovative new project designed by Pictora and supported by the Big Lottery, that builds prisoner, ex-offender and unemployed individuals’ employability skills, challenges the condition of Learned Helplessness (where due to past experiences the individual has learned to fail) and a lack of purpose in life.
Pictora has opened Made Visible to all prisons across the UK, to support prisoners during the Covid-19 lockdown challenges.
In conjunction with 2Makeit, interested prisons can access Made Visible Packs for prisoners.
Submitted work can be submitted for presentation on the Pictora website.
Made Visible builds self estem and engages prisoners in creative work, supporting postive mental health and personal resiliance.
Building social capital and employability through creativity and the connected economy to reduce re-offending.
The EU Erasmus+ project, co-ordinated by Pictora links the power of creativity to The Connected Economy to help offenders leaving prison or ex-offenders in the community to build new futures. www.create4life.net.
